Lance White is a Mohawk cannabis entrepreneur from the territory of Akwesasne. White is the founder and president of Turtle Island Corporation and recently obtained a “first of its kind” Four Tier license from the tribal government in the New York portion of Akwesasne, which allows cultivation, extraction, retail sales and consumption under one roof.

Thunder Anderson is a member of the St. Regis Mohawk tribe, currently living on tribal land in St. Lawrence County. A native of Upstate New York, he is the manager of Famous A’s, a local cannabis business in Massena licensed through the Mohawk Long House Council. Anderson is a father of four, and a community member dedicated to preserving plant medicine education in the Mohawk tradition.

Joseph Bondy is an internationally recognized expert in criminal litigation, named one of America’s Top 100 Attorneys and Top 100 Criminal Defense Lawyers. A native of New York City, he is a graduate of Columbia University and Brooklyn Law School. With over 25 years of superlative trial and federal sentencing experience, Bondy has advised thousands of clients in complex criminal defense, cannabis business and advocacy, and crisis management matters. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML), a lifetime member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and serves on the faculty of Cardozo Law School’s Intensive Trial Advocacy Program (ITAP).

Matt Leonardo is a member of Hinman Straub’s Health Law and Government Relations departments and represents indigenous nations in his practice. Previously, Leonardo served as the lead attorney for health care financing at the Department of Health.
